In this year's subject-wise results of 9 general education boards, students scored lower average marks in English. In English, students of Dhaka Education Board scored an average of 73.66 percent, Rajshahi 68.82 percent, Comilla 65.28 percent, Jessore 54.82 percent, Chittagong 63.76 percent, Barisal 75.16 percent, Sylhet 64.53 percent, Dinajpur 64.47 percent and Mymensingh 61.92 percent.
In this picture of the result, Jessore Education Board has done the worst and Barisal Education Board has done the best. Jessore education board students scored an average score of 54.82 percent in English, while Barisal scored the highest score of 75.16 percent.
In the subject-wise Bengali examination, students of Dhaka Education Board scored an average of 94.27 percent, Rajshahi 94.31 percent, Comilla 92.28 percent, Jessore 90.91 percent, Chittagong 87.35 percent, Barisal 85.88 percent, Sylhet 90.27 percent, Dinajpur 92.27 percent and Mymensingh 88.31 percent. percentage

Besides, Jessore got the highest average marks in ICT at 88.63 and Mymonsingh got the lowest marks at 72.82 percent.
Dhaka Education Board got the highest marks in Physics with 91.90 percent and Comilla got the lowest marks with 81.50 percent.
Rajshahi got the highest average marks in Maths with 96.68 percent and Chittagong got the lowest with 74.15 percent.
Dhaka Education Board scored the highest average marks in accounting at 82.46 percent and Dinajpur Education Board scored the lowest at 58.41 percent.
Dhaka Board Chairman Professor Dr. asked about poor results in English. Ehsanul Kabir of Khandokar said that the students did badly in English. Especially Jessore failed the most in English in the board. There, the failure rate in English is more than 45 percent. Although Dhaka and Barisal did slightly better in English, we have fallen behind in the average result due to poor performance in other boards.
It should be noted that this time a total of 12 lakh 35 thousand 661 students participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations. Among them, 6 lakh 11 thousand 446 students and 6 lakh 24 thousand 215 female students.
