The results of this year's HSC and equivalent examinations will be published today, Thursday (October 16). In the notification of the Inter Education Board Coordination Committee, arrangements have been made to release the results from the respective education boards at 10 am.
According to the notification, Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board HSC and equivalent exam results will be published simultaneously.
The results will be available on the websites of the education boards, all the examination centers/educational institutes concerned and through SMS.
According to the Ministry of Education, 12 lakh 51 thousand 111 candidates participated in the HSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards from last June 26. Among them, 6 lakh 18 thousand 15 students and 6 lakh 33 thousand 96 female students. The examination was held in 2 thousand 797 centers of the country.
There are two lakh 91 thousand 241 examinees in Dhaka board, one lakh 33 thousand 242 in Rajshahi, one lakh one thousand 750 in Comilla, one lakh 16 thousand 317 in Jessore, one lakh 35 in Chittagong, 61 thousand 25 in Barisal, 69 thousand 683 in Sylhet, one lakh three thousand 832 in Dinajpur and 78 thousand 273 in Mymensingh board.
86 thousand 102 Alim candidates under Madrasa Board and 1 lakh 9 thousand 611 HSC (BM/BMT) candidates under Technical Board.
How to know the result of the exam
Education Board website www.educationboardresults.gov.bd By clicking on the Result corner, you can download the institution-wise results through the EIIN number of the board and institution. Candidates can also collect the results from their respective institutions or board websites. Besides, the result can also be known by sending an SMS to the prescribed short code 16222.
Besides, candidates can also know the result through SMS. To know the result through SMS, go to the message option of the mobile phone and type the first three letters of the English name of the board (dha for Dhaka board, raj for Rajshahi board, mad for Madrasa board) with a space and type the year of the pass with a space and send it to 16222./SSA/
