The Ministry of Education has received more than six thousand views on Dhaka Central University Ordinance. Considering these views, the ordinance has been called to avoid mutual conflict, considering the final time, and all of them have been urged to behave responsibly.
The Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education said this in a press release on Wednesday (October 5th).
It was informed that more than six thousand different religious views were received from students, teachers and Sudhijans in response to the public opinion of the proposed Dhaka Central University Ordinance. In addition to constructive advice, concerns have also been expressed in these opinions. Secondary and Higher Education Department is considering everyone's views and concerns very seriously.
The establishment of Dhaka Central University has been undertaken as part of an effective step in terms of quality education, timely examination and publishing results. As part of this, the University Grants Commission (UGC) drafted the Dhaka Central University Ordinance and sent it to the Secondary and Higher Education Department. The opinion of the draft has been accepted.
According to the notice, the Secondary and Higher Education Department is conducting the task of finalizing the draft of the ordinance, following the statutory processes and steps, considering the importance and differences of the matter and the magnitude of the partners in the country's higher education system. Although this process is time -consuming, the Secondary and Higher Education Department believes that it will be possible to reach out to the all -time acceptable and integrated decisions.
In the continuation of the review and analysis of the views available online and directly, the schedule of the exchange meeting has already been set with teachers, students, educators and representatives of civil society. It is expected that the views available at the direct exchange meeting will also provide important directions in drafting the appropriate draft.
According to the press release, the Secondary and Higher Education Department has been working on a specific guidance on the basis of a positive academic environment, protecting the fair interests of all stakeholders, irrespective of teachers, students, guardians, and to create a positive academic environment in the country's higher education system. In this process, the ministry is completely aware and sensitive on relevant issues, including the preservation of the posts of teachers, the uniqueness of the college, the management of the assets and the interim management for the higher level students.
