MPO teachers of private educational institutions are staying at the central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka at night to demand the increase of house rent. They have been waiting for the government's decision since Wednesday (October 8). Shahbag is also preparing for the siege to collect the demand. However, the law enforcement agencies are ready to prevent disaster.
Jahangir Alam, a teacher who participated in the program, said that the teachers under the leadership of Delwar Hossain Azizi, a member of the alliance, who are expected to nationalize the MPO education, will take a stand at the city. Preparations are underway to block the road in Shahbag. It was supposed to stay there from 12pm. However, the preparation will be taken after a while.
Teachers said that teachers are protesting on various demands, including increasing the rent allowance by 20 percent, medical allowance of Tk. Central position programs are underway in Dhaka, while on the other hand, there is a breakdown in the educational institutions of the country.
They also said that during the program in front of the National Press Club on October 12, the teachers were subjected to police departure. Their location program was removed at the Shaheed Minar. Police started the 'March Two Secretariat' program on Tuesday (October 5th) at the High Court shrine gate of the teachers.
