Meta brings new algorithm updates to make Facebook users' video watching experience more personal and controllable. The company said on Tuesday (October 8th) that the update would now watch more reels videos of their choice and easily control the unwanted or disgusting content.
With the new feature, users can now choose 'Not Interested' directly if no reel video is liked. This will show less of the video of the Facebook recreation engine. Similarly, if a comment seems inappropriate, it can be reacted by flaging it.
Dear video saving ways
Facebook 'Save' features have also been updated. From now on, users can easily save the favorite reels or posts in one place, which will be convenient to see or share later.
Many complain that Facebook Reils show fake, annoying or substandard AI-generated videos. Meta has recently invested in artificial intelligence (AI) and launched a new short-form video feed called 'Vobes', which will only show AI-built videos.
Priority to new content
Meta's new update will be given priority to the new content. Meta says users will now see more than 5 percent of the reels.
AI-powered search suggestion
Adding to Facebook Reils is the AI-PowerD search suggestions or artificial intelligence search suggestion. It can be seen in the form of gray tags under the video like a ticket, which will help users find the favorite video.
The new 'Friend Bubble' feature
The Facebook reels and the main feed are adding 'Friend Bubbles' features, through which users will see what their friends have liked on what post. This bubble friend's profile picture will only have the opportunity to open a direct personal message like Instagram.
This new algorithm update on Facebook will make users' video watching experience more personal, relevant and controllable. In addition to increasing the use of AI in reels content, it was created with the user's response.
