Batsman Shamim Hossain was dropped in the first two T20Is against Ireland. Before the third and last T20 of the series, the Bangladesh Cricket Board took him into the team. The three-match series is currently tied at 1-1.
Left-handed batsman Shamim has played 46 matches for Bangladesh so far in this format.
However, skipper Liton Das raised eyebrows after Shamim was dropped. He said that he has no influence in party elections. After that incident, Shamim was brought back into the team. However, no one was left out. The last match of the series will be played in Chittagong on Tuesday.
