Voting for Mock Voting will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM. In the first hour of mock voting, 23, 37, 27 and 21 people voted in four booths, said the Assistant Presiding Officer.
After the polling, the presiding officer of the mock voting center Jahangir Alam said that 352 out of 500 voters voted in this mock voting. That is, 70.4 percent of the votes have been cast.
Meanwhile, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin, who inspected the polling station, said, 'Apart from the national election, the referendum should also be held on the same day. That's why time management is a big challenge. How much time each voter will take between 8 am to 4 pm for general polls and by-polls is being verified through mock voting. Whether the more than 42,500 polling stations are sufficient or whether additional booths and stations will be needed will be decided based on today's real-time assessment. New booths mean additional manpower, equipment and management—these will be determined from actual observations.'
