Country's famous guitarist Salim Haider is no more. He died at a private hospital in Moghbazar of the capital on Thursday (November 27) at 10:05 PM.
Feedback band member Fawad Nasser Babu confirmed the news. Salim Haider himself was a founding member of this band.
It is known that Salim Haider was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few months ago. He was recently admitted to the hospital when his physical condition deteriorated.
According to family sources, Salim Haider was admitted to the hospital on October 31. He returned home from the hospital on November 24. On November 27, when his physical condition worsened, he was taken to the hospital again, and the doctor on duty declared him dead.
Salim Haider's Janaza will be held on Friday (November 28) at Bad Juma Hatirpul Pond Par Jame Masjid. 
Salim Haider is basically the lead guitarist. But also proficient on bass and rhythm guitar, acoustic drums and keyboard. Apart from founding Feedback, he has played guitar with almost all the renowned artistes of the country.
Two outstandingly popular songs with music direction by Salim Haider include Feedback's 'Eidin Chirdin Rabe' and 'Ai Dur To Durur'.
