Pumpkin Flower Bara is a very popular, light and crispy type of fry. How to make? very simple-
Materials
pumpkin flower
Besan (chickpea flour)
Rice flour (for crisping)
Salt to taste
A little yellow powder
Chilli powder or ground chili to taste
A little Jhal-Ginger Bata (optional)

Wash the pumpkin flowers very carefully. Gently discard the tough inner parts and stamens. Mix gram flour, rice powder, salt, turmeric, chili powder/green pepper in a bowl. Make a thick batter with little water (like a deep fryer). Heat oil in a pan. Dip each flower in the batter and drop into the hot oil. Fry on medium heat until both sides are golden and crisp. Drain the oil on a tissue paper.
Puishak Bara is very easy, crunchy and goes well with rice-
Materials
Puishak (Leaves and soft stems)
Chop onion
Chopped green chillies
Garlic paste (optional)
gram flour
Rice flour (will make it crispy)
Salt to taste
A little yellow powder
Oil for frying
Wash the puishak well and chop it. There should be no water. In a large bowl, mix all the vegetables, onion, pepper, garlic, salt, turmeric. Then add gram flour and rice powder. Mix by hand. Heat oil in a pan. Drop them into the oil in small balls with your hands or a spoon. Fry on medium flame until golden on both sides. Drain the oil on a tissue.

Dal Bata (lentil/mung bean)
Dry chili powder

Wash the bay leaves well and drain the water. Mix rice powder, dal batter, chili powder, turmeric and salt in a bowl. Make a thick paste with little water. Apply the mixture to each gourd leaf and fold the leaves. Heat oil in a pan and fry the borras one by one on medium heat. When both sides are golden, take them out and take them out in a tissue.
